La Consejería de Educación oferta más de 105.700 plazas escolares para niños y niñas de tres años de edad que se incorporarán por primera vez al sistema educativo andaluz en el curso escolar 2009/10. Según las previsiones de Educación la oferta total de plazas para el próximo curso en los centros sostenidos con fondos públicos alcanzará la cifra de un 1.638.863 puestos escolares.
Durante todo el mes de marzo permanecerá abierto el plazo de presentación de solicitudes de admisión para el próximo curso en los centros educativos públicos y concertados de los niveles no universitarios de Andalucía. En este proceso deberán participar todos los niños que accedan por primera vez a un puesto escolar sostenido con fondos públicos y los que cambien de colegio o instituto por motivos de residencia o cualquier otra causa.
En la escolarización para el curso 2009/10, se mantendrán los mismos criterios de baremación que el pasado año para la asignación de plazas en los centros docentes. No obstante, la Consejería de Educación introducirá dos novedades destinadas a mejorar el procedimiento. De un lado, y atendiendo a las recomendaciones de la Agencia Nacional de Protección de Datos, los centros publicarán en sus tablones la relación de los solicitante con la puntuación total obtenida tras la aplicación del baremo. Se evita de este modo que aparezcan datos personales de los alumnos que pueden afectar a la esfera de su intimidad como es el caso de la renta familiar o la existencia de alguna discapacidad.
De otro lado, y con el fin de facilitar los trámites administrativos, para justificar el domicilio familiar, los padres podrán autorizar a la Administración educativa para que recabe esta información directamente o bien optar por entregar junto a la solicitud de admisión el certificado de empadronamiento expedido por el Ayuntamiento correspondiente.
Los centros deben publicar en el tablón de anuncios la relación de vacantes y las zonas y calles comprendidas en su área de influencia. En los casos en que la oferta de puestos escolares sea superior a la demanda, los solicitantes serán admitidos sin más trámite. Sólo en aquellos centros donde la demanda supere la oferta de plazas, se llevará a cabo la baremación y la publicación en el tablón de anuncios, antes del 12 de abril, de la relación de los solicitantes con la puntuación obtenida. En caso de disconformidad, se podrán presentar alegaciones en el plazo de diez días hábiles. La relación definitiva de admitidos y no admitidos se publicará, antes del 7 de mayo, con la puntuación total. A los no admitidos, se les indicará los motivos de su exclusión.
Las familias podrán acceder, a través de la página web de la Consejería de Educación (http://www.juntadeandalucia.es/educacion), a toda la información sobre los centros y sus enseñanzas, así como sus zonas de influencias y todo lo relacionado con el proceso de escolarización. Además se podrán consultar los centros andaluces que ofertan los servicios del Plan de Apertura de Centros de aula matinal, comedor y actividades extraescolares. Asimismo, se podrá descargar la solicitud de admisión que, una vez cumplimentada deberá ser entregada por duplicado en el centro donde se solicita plaza. No obstante, también se podrá recoger el impreso en los propios centros educativos.
Durante todo el mes de marzo estará en funcionamiento el teléfono gratuito de información 900 848 000, que ofrecerá, ininterrumpidamente de 9.00 a 21.00 horas, asesoramiento sobre el proceso de escolarización.
